Personality

As a result of how she's often tricked and lied to people on the job, her true personality is difficult to decipher. She's able to convincingly portray friendly and flirtatious, timid, vulnerable, and scared characters.

For the most part, however, she's a level-headed, strong-willed. Maintaining a controlled, almost emotionless persona to keep whatever she's truly thinking a secret.

Her story

Yeeun Song is said to be born in the mid 90s. Although her exact parentage is unknown, it is rumored that she was the spawn of a lousy one-night stand between a 고려사람 (Koryo-saram) woman and an unknown Russian man.
Orphaned as a child, she was rescued by a man looked after and trained the girl, becoming a father-like figure to her. He would later have her sent to Department X with 28 other young female orphans, where she was trained in combat and espionage at a facility called the Red Room. There, aside both psychological conditioning and physical training, she was bio-technologically and psycho-technologically enhanced. Gifting her with peak human strength and stamina, as well as resistance to disease and slowed-down aging. Her training also included intense ballet dance lessons, where their instructor ordered her and the other females to repeat their routine over and over again, so they would become unbreakable.

The training was so brutal that approximately two in twenty of the girls in each generation ended up surviving to become fully-fledged Black Widows. “Defects” were eliminated.

As a final ceremony to complete her training, Song was given an involuntary hysterectomy and had her ovaries and uterus removed, with the Red Room citing the need for sterilization as they believed pregnancy was the one thing that would prevent a Widow from completing their mission.

Upon her graduation, the next step was in her career as a trained spy and assassin was yet to be uncovered. However, when the Academy was destroyed by former Widows, on a quest to find her mother, she found herself in Korea where she'd put her skillset to use; she became a mercenary, a weapon for hire who can locate, capture, or end anyone or anything for the right price.

Although an essentially "fandomless" OC, this character is heavily based on and influenced by Marvel's (both comics &&. MCU) Natalia Alianovna Romanova and Yelena Belova and the lore surrounding these characters.
